Great information on this thread.

I would like to add if there is a Women’s Business Center or a Small Business Center in your area contact them. The WBC in my area has been invaluable to me in how to start my business. Things I had not thought about have been brought to my attention. They offer free business coaching and free or low cost classes as well as free networking opportunities.

Is it possible to register with a VA agency rather than set up a website and do my own marketing. I would rather just get down to it if I can... or am I rushing ahead?

Thanks for all the information in this thread! The list is a great start and all the extra insights have been very beneficial. Just starting your own business can be overwhelming, but having the information helps.
