Will Virtual Assistant Forums be going mobile?

Just wondering if there are any plans to create a mobile version of the VAF or perhaps an android/iPhone app? I'm android, so would prefer that but would be just as happy with a mobile version of the site.

Yes! As soon as the time is available to work on this we're going to make it happen - it'll divert users to a mobile version when they log on from just about any cel phone and will allow you to read, respond to and post new threads. We'll definitely make the announcement when it's launched.

As to an actual app for iPhone and Droid - we're still talking that one over, and we shall see!

The mobile version of VAF has just launched and is available for all iPhones, iPods, Blackberries and Android phones. It's still being customized with the site colors, link classes, etc. but it's there and ready to roll - enjoy!

We are happy to be able to update this thread to let everyone know that we've added a 'Today's Posts' link to the mobile version [similar to the 'New Posts' link here on the main site] - it's visible once you are logged in to the mobile VAF. We're sure this small addition will make the mobile version even more useful and hope you will agree!

A Today's Post link is a great idea. That was the one thing I missed when looking at VAF on my mobile and I would switch to the full version, even though it took longer to load.
