[Problem] Profile Picture Question

Hi! I'm new to VA Forums and I recently completed a portion of my profile, included a picture. I signed up for one of the social groups but my profile picture is still displaying in the system as a question mark. Can someone help me rectify this? Thanks!

Hi Kathy,

I'm sure someone else could help you out better with this, but my picture is uploaded through "avatar" on the profile page. Try adding it there and see what happens until someone else pitches in here.

Yeah, I did that, Kena, and for some reason, it's still displaying the question mark. I even went so far as to remove it and add it again. I don't know where I'm going wrong but something doesn't seem to work properly.

Have you checked to see if you have checked this part by mistake? It is under the "Editing Avatar" part of your profile.

"Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar <----if this is checked your avatar will NOT show up
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it."

Check that and let me know if that is it. That is the only suggestion I have right now.

Thanks Rebecca and Kena for pitching in here - Kathya, apologies for such a delayed reply! It looks like with the help of your fellow members you've got this one worked out.

Members: remember, you have a profile picture AND an avatar. The avatar is what displays next to your posts on the boards, your profile picture displays inside your profile page.

I did a few clicks with the Avatar feature, and something I clicked worked! Yay! So, thank you to everyone for your feedback! I appreciate it.
