Not receiving forum subscription e-mails

Hi,

I can see in my profile that I am subscribed to threads for instant notification, but I have never received an e-mail. There is nothing in my junk folder.

How can I fix this?

Hi Holly, let's see if we can get this sorted out for you...

-- Have you checked under your subscriptions to see that you are in face subscribed?
Use QUICK LINKS in the main menu, then choose 'Subscribed Threads' - they should be listed there. You can manage threads there as well.

-- What email client do you use to receive notification from VAF? Yahoo!, Hotmail, and Gmail often send our emails to the Junk folder - although it sounds like you checked there.

-- Have you added the domain virtualassistantforums.com to your safe senders / email whitelist?

If all of those items check out and you're still not getting our emails [particularly if your email client is ISP-based like @comcast.net or similar], I'd recommend getting in touch with your ISP and let them know you're not receiving emails you signed up to receive.

Hi,

Thanks for response. I wasn't able to sign up with my Yahoo account so I used roadrunner. I am getting other e-mails to that account, but really don't use it for much else. My account says I am subscribed to threads. I will contact Roadrunner, thanks!

They may have blocked us - we send out a lot of email and the smaller ISPs are quick to judge items as spam - let me know what you find out and if need be we can email with them to get our site unblocked [if that is what the case is].
