Exclamation Not getting VAF emails? Here's how to fix that...
IMPORTANT - community members: Help us ensure that VAF emails are always delivered to your inbox and that VAF has a 'clean bill of health' with your email client.

A few simple steps, explained below, will do the trick. Please take a moment to log in to your email account now and add VAF to your address book, contacts or “Safe Senders” list using the info we've provided below [scroll down until you find your email service]

If you use Gmail

Please add our addresses contact@ and admin @ virtualassistantforums.com to your Gmail contacts list. Remember that you may receive messages from several VAF addresses, including the two listed above. To add us to your contact list:

1. Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page.
2. Click "Add Contact".
3. Enter our "From" address, "contact@...”, into the primary email address dialog box.
4. Click "Save".
[Please repeat these steps for admin@ ]

Next, please take a moment to see if any VAF email is in the "Spam" folder:
1. Click “Spam” along the left side of any Gmail page.
2. If you see any VAF email listed among the messages in this folder, check the box next to our email.
3. Click the “Not Spam” button along the top.

If you use Windows Live Hotmail

Please add our addresses contact@ and admin @ virtualassistantforums.com to your Safe Senders List. Remember that you may receive messages from several VAF addresses, including the two listed above. To add us to your Safe Senders List:

1. Open your mailbox and click "Options" (upper right hand corner).
2. Click the "Junk Email Protection" link (top of page).
3. Select the "Safe List" link (second from bottom).
4. Enter our contact@ email address into the dialog box titled "Type an address or domain".
5. Click the "Add" button next to the dialog box.
[Please repeat these steps for admin@ ]

Next, please take a moment to see if any VAF email is in the "Junk Email" folder.

If our email is in your “Junk Email Folder”, please open the email and click the "Not Junk" button. Next, check to see if our email address is in your "Blocked Senders" list. If you see "@virtualassistantforums.c om" on this list, select it and click the "Remove" button.

1. Click “Mail Menu” and select "Address Book".
2. Wait for the "Address Book" window to pop up and then click the "Add” button.
3. Wait for the "Address Card for New Contact" window to load.
4. Enter our contact@ email address into the "Other Email" field.
5. Make our "from" address the "Primary Email" address by checking the associated check box.
6. Click the "Save" button.
[Please repeat these steps foradmin@ ]

Next, please take a moment to see if any VAF email is in the "Spam" folder:

If our email is in your AOL Spam Folder, please open the email and then click the "This Is Not Spam" button.

If our emails are ending up in your Yahoo! “Bulk Folder”, please open the email and click the "Not Spam" button. Next, check to see if the address the email or newsletter was sent from is in your "Blocked Addresses" list. It will be very helpful if you add us to your whitelist even if you do rec'v our emails. The more VAs who put us on their safe senders list, the better!
