[Question] Moderated Posts/Replies? What's up...

Hi,

I wanted to ask why my replies are now being "moderated" prior to being posted? When I tried to reply to the "Equipment" thread, after hitting reply, it said something about how a moderator needs to approve my post first.

I don't recall ever seeing that message before today, & my posts/replies have always been displayed immediately, so I'm just trying to figure out if I did something to deserve that? BTW, I didn't notice that message right away so I accidentally replied twice to that thread thinking something else was wrong, sorry.

Hi Shana,
We have an antispam feature on the forums that 'learns' what is considered spam. As part of the protocol there are especially strict spam 'laws' on all new members up to 25 posts. We are notified of any auto-moderated and can then manually approve the post (as well as provide information to our antispam feature that lets it know that your post was *not* spam). We've found this feature to be a great time-saver where previously all threads were reviewed manually and dealt with accordingly; and the rare 'accidental' moderation is easy to fix.

Don't worry, your post has already been approved and the duplicate deleted.
