Default Forum width... ?
Hey, anyone that can chime in:

Is the forum wider? I now have to scroll horizontally to read everything. Or maybe it's just me?

Thanks!

Hi Jules, we haven't changed anything so I'm not sure what the issue could be.
What browser are you on, what's your screen resolution, and just how *much* do you have to scroll?

Now that you mention it, I just updated Firefox to 3.6.16 a few days ago. That might be the problem.

Viewport is: width, 1024; height: 523 (I have a few toolbars, LOL).

I estimate the scroll is about 1/3 of the screen.

But, like I said, I did just update FF a few days ago. I'll check out the very latest, newest version 4 of FF and install that.

Thanks gals!

Shoot. Installed FF 4 and still have this problem. I'll keep digging to figure this out.

Thanks!

Arg. I downgraded to FF 3.6 and still having this issue. I could spit.

Going to leave it alone and work on something else. I'll let y'all know when I get the problem resolved - and what I did to resolve it.

Thanks!

Re: Forum width... ?
Chatted with hubby and have a couple of possible things.

1. Browser may be set to max view of tables or main centre of page, ads get pushed off the side of the screen . (this is mine, see whole message but scroll for ads)

2. During the update you may have changed the default font size or have zoomed in.

No idea how to fix the first without some serious digging, but the second should be easy enough to fix.

From the menu --> Edit --> Preferences.
There you can play with the fonts and see if that helps.
-or-
From the menu --> View --> Zoom.
Reset it.

See if those help.

Kim.

oop, also ment to mention that the background pic is listed at 1126 width.

That might have something to do with it. Sometimes the computer (not the browser) will dictate how images are shown within programs. Without serious tweeking I'm not sure how to solve that.
Kim.
