I'm sure the answer is here somewhere, so I'm sorry if I've missed it - but when and how does a New Member status change to Active Member. Not that it's any big deal - but just wondering.
I'm sure the answer is somewhere already on the forum - but I've looked and looked and can't seem to find anything about it. I've double checked the new member PM, FAQ's, and this Forum.

Well - as I clicked submit I see that I am now listed as a contributing member! Yeah!!! That's very cool...so maybe I've answered my own post somewhat.
Still would kinda like to understand the different levels though.

I notice there are different levels such as contributing member and active member. What are all the different types of members and how many posts do you need to reach for each one?
Yes, they're very basic (and actually, we are open to suggestions for levels of posts and titles so if you have any please feel free to reply to the thread for consideration)
Also, bear in mind this was set up when the site was new and hasn't been updated since - so... any thoughts?

This is great! My feedback is that we should have a level at 200 or 250 also. I am only at 257 and am active but long way from 500. What do you guys think?
I've only been on the site for a few days and I'm already almost up to the 50 post mark. It's hard NOT to hit that in your first day as you read through all the information on this site!
