Would like to see a new Niche Forum for VAs to Speakers, Coaches, Trainers

I want to add a new forum to the NICHE VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FORUMS. It would be VAs for SPEAKERS, COACHES, TRAINERS. How can I add this new forum group?

Hi Jacqulyn Any member of Virtual Assistant Forums can start their own Group here at VAF, and you'd be most welcome to create and manage a group for VAs in these niches if you wish. Please note that the Forum Terms of Service apply to groups as well.

If you're asking for a new topic section on the main boards to be added under NICHE VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FORUMS we would consider adding specific forums for each of those client-types if there was enough feedback from the community to do so and enough existing content on the forums to move into those sections initially.

This is a really good idea. I would like to see the client types grouped as one to start, and broken out as the interest develops, as suggested by the Admin.

Hi Mary, thanks for chiming in on this. We'll take a look through the forums to see how many existing threads there are related to the three niches and give it some thought.

If anyone else would like to offer their input on this please feel free to post to this thread with your thoughts.

I'm guessing there is no over-arching title that applies to all three?

I'd just like to add that I think it's a great idea. The niche is usually grouped as Authors, Speakers and Coaches.

I would love to see a group dedicated to Authors, Speakers, and Coaches as it is an area that I am interested in as my business grows.

I think it would be a great addition and can't believe none of us thought of it before. LOL. Also, I would like to add that that particular niche is in desperate need of product launch support for all of their workshops and training seminars. What a great contribution you have made just by suggesting it Jacqueline!

Thanks everyone for your feedback and thoughts on this - we're going to continue to monitor this thread for further input.

In the meantime, we've been unable to locate more than a couple of discussions on the board centered around these niches. We'd definitely need to see more activity on the forums specifically related to these niches before we could devote an entire section to them.

For those members who wish to see this niche section come into play here at VAF we suggest doing the following (in the appropriate existing forums) :
- Start conversations related to the niche in question on the forums - ask questions, create polls, share resources and tips, etc.

- Start a member-run group devoted to this niche (as suggested in the initial reply to this thread)

- Become more active on the boards and encourage VAF members who share your niche to become more active on the boards

- Invite other VAs in your niche who are not members to come participate at VAF

- Ask fellow VAs who share your niche to post their support of the suggested forum section to this thread

Certainly, with enough time and effort this can grow from a suggestion to a viable new topic section here at VAF. We're absolutely willing to create the new forum once there is enough consistent activity on VAF to support it!

My first thought was that posting in the new niche would take away from other topics where questions and posts might have been listed but I nixed that thought when I ventured into the current 'Niche' category where REVA, Transcriptionists and Multi-VA categories were already present.

I often use the Search feature when I want to find something previously discussed so it would not have any effect on research if a new niche was formed.

So I say, why not? This is a common niche and it would certainly be useful to post in one place specific to that niche.
