Re: two distinct niches?
Hi there,
I would recommend having two separate websites for the different niche markets and services, just so there's no confusion from your website visitors. It will be hard to have a clear marketing message if you're trying to appeal to two completely different target markets on one website, and the result will be that neither market will really understand what you have to offer them (or, in other words, what hiring you will do for them). It will be very hard to attract clients this way.
To answer your other question about just choosing one or the other, it might not be a bad idea to do that, just until you get yourself up and running. If you try to divide your time between two separate niches right from the start, you're going to be switching gears often, and it might take you longer to get clients for either one, since you won't be able to devote as much time and effort to either niche. To save yourself a little overwhelm and frustration, you might be better off at least starting with one focus, either pets or entertainment, and when you get that business up and running smoothly, then you can look into the other niche.
Just my two cents!
