I have used both Bluehost and Hostmonster. I like them both. (Now if I can just figure out how to use all the stuff they offer in the back end lol).

I use hostgator and i love it. it has a pretty good cpanel and it cost $4.95/mth to host online 1 domain. $7.95/ mth will let you host multiple domains for the one price.

I use 2001web for all of my webhosting/domains. They are not the cheapest, but they really are ... because with them, a web dummy like me can do it all. They are reliable, responsive and knowledgeable...and patient. They are in the UK, but I pretty much have access 24 hours a day because they are really on the ball. I've been with them for several years now. And I own my domains. (One of my Senator bosses - my real job - procrastinated about renewing her domain. Here is what happened to it www.lianesorenson.com It was bought by someone in the Ukraine (I think) and is now a vitamin/vi*gra store.) A good web person won't let that happen because they have an interest in their clients. Her domain was through GoDaddy. Oh, I'm a newbie VA, but I've had my jewelry design site with them for a couple of years...

1 and 1.com has some really good deals. Their service is reliable and they provide web statistics.

I use Super Green Hosting. So far it's been super reliable, the price was great and I can actually host as many domains as I want under my one account.

I currently have a free Webnode site, and I've been very happy with it. They have some great templates to choose from, allow total customization, and domain setup is easy.

I was just told the other day about a good $10/year Wordpress blog host, but I can't find the info now. Googling turned up several options, so that's one way to go. I'd do plenty of research and comparison shopping first. As much as I love my free hosting plan, I'm thinking about switching my site over to WP to better showcase my web design capabilities. If I do I'll let you know if I find a good cheap host.

After some more digging I'm 99% positive that ExpertWebHost.net is the $10 provider I was trying to remember. They actually have an even cheaper plan for about $5 a year that looks like it has everything I'd need. I'm having a hard time finding reviews, though, so I'd research them a bit more before signing up.

For low traffic sites, I highly recommend nearlyfreespeech where the websites need to pay only for what they use! Highly recommended for testing websites too before launching.

BlueHost.com has been awesome for me so far, especially since they host my WordPress blog. Having it hosted at my domain gives me a lot more functionality on my blog.

I found a discount code that will allow you to pay $3.95/month (2 year contract). Also, they will pay to renew your domain name for free as long as you are with them.

Here's that code.

Cheers!
