Good Morning All,

I've read the Forum posts on reseller hosting, but wanted to ask a specific question.

I currently have 3 websites of my own (all with single account hosting) and am in the process of moving them to one host.

I am also setting up a new website for a client and I have one more in the works.

The hosting company is suggesting a reseller account, but I am not familiar with nor do I really understand reseller accounts. I was planning to use single hosting plans for all my sites and do the same for my new clients' sites.

Is the hosting company trying to get me to spend more money or is this really a better option for me in terms of hosting?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and opinions... I need some help (in plain English) from some friends I trust on this forum!

Hi, I would like some more information about this as well. Specifically, how do you normally handle the transfer of information back and forth when setting up hosting for clients?

Do you have them call the hosting company and then provide you with the password information and access links? Do you call on their behalf with their credit card? In the past when I've done this for clients it has felt very clunky and I have another one coming up so I wanted to find out if anyone else had some smoother processes for this situation.

I too have been wondering about reseller accounts but not sure if that would actually help this process since I'm not familiar with the details of how reselling ACTUALLY works.
