I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for reseller hosting? Who to use, who to stay away from? I am going to research this some more, but wanted to know if anyone had any additional information in this area.
Hi Darlene, I think it depends on what your end goal is - do you want to resell hosting and supply the support or do you want to act as a reseller for a hosting company [where *they* provide support]?

Darlene,
Contact Hosting Connecticut (hostingct.com). The owner is Paula Pierce. She has reseller packages and will provide your support. You might also try 5DollarHosting.com. They also have reseller packages and I believe they also provide support.
Tess - basically I am looking for a solution for podcast clients. I find some clients may want to host their podcast separately or perhaps don't have a web presence at all; need hosting for the entire kit-n-kaboodle. Obviously I can refer them somewhere or they can find a host themselves, but it would be much more easier and practical to have one complete solution for them AND then I don't have to work within the constraints of a variety of different web hosts.
I probably should back up and ask -- reseller hosting is indeed the best solution (outside of getting my own server) for this type of scenario. Is that correct?
I don't have experience as a reseller, but if it makes you a little money, I say go for it. If not, you could just select one host and make that the one you suggest to clients, so you're always dealing with the same constraints. Tho the host should reward you in that case as well!
