I am researching registering on godaddy...etc...and I have read about the benefits of having more than just one domain name...but I don't want to buy too much too soon... Any suggestions?

I picked names that someone might just enter into a browser address line. Don't know if they'll do much for me, but at about $10 a name or so, it wasn't a huge expense.
