Default how does bluehost handle email setup for multiple domains?
I'm planning on setting up an account with bluehost, and I'd like to know how they handle multiple domains with email accounts. In the past, I've seen odd situations on some of the other web hosts I have used whereby I could only set up email accounts on my primary domain. I would then have to set the other domains I had to pass-through email from my primary, meaning that if I set up ralph@maindomain.com, I could enable ralph@otherdomain.com, but it was *really* the same account. I didn't like that at all, primarily because I'd be in trouble if I ever needed another Ralph!

So, does bluehost allow you to manage email for domains individually? Has anyone had experience with this? Do I need some special, expensive account in order to do this?

Thanks!!

Yes, Bluehost does allow managing emails individually. I have numerous sub/addon domains with Bluehost.

Setting up email accounts for sub/addon domains is exactly the same way you create an email account for your primary domain. When creating the email account in the cPanel you will see a drop-down menu which allows you to choose the desired domain name.

HTH a bit,
