Re: Which hosting is the best?
What I like about myhosting.com is that you can have both Windows and Linux concurrently on the same hosted account. If you have data that must run only on Linux you can set up a sub web (no additional cost) and remove IIS from this section. This lets you load all types of pages (html, asp, asp.net, ajax, php, etc.) plus they give you Exchange Email with the hosting fee. Basic $4.84/mo, Premium $9.34/mo, Professional $18.71/mo.

Re: Which hosting is the best?
I've been using free web hosting service for more than 3 years, www.00webhosting.com and it's really help me with my website. Instead, I think hostgator as the paid web host service is okay.

For hosting I use BlueHost, and I love them. They're extremely reasonable and offer all the little "extras" that I want.
It sounds like you are talking about a design or template. Dreamweaver is a software program produced by Adobe that can help build a website, but in order to really do a good Dreamweaver site, you still need to know the basics of what's going on "under the hood".
Personally, if you're a beginner or don't have the time/knowledge/resources to build your own, I'd look into doing a wordpress site. There are many free/cheap themes available that you can customize to your liking, and Wordpress handles all of the content management for you.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Wow!!! Thanks Amanda. I was specifically looking for this thread. One of my friends is using blue host and she has recommended me to use it as she feels it's great. However, when I googled I found many reviews giving bad rating for blue host. Most of the people say that the server goes down frequently and many have claimed that they have lost their entire data since the blue host has stopped backing up the files. I would like to know, how long have you been using it and what is your experience with them? I mean from customer support to maintenance. How easy for a beginner to use it? Your opinion is highly appreciated

I am not sure this has been mentioned, Network Solutions is a good, reliable and low cost hosting provider for websites, E-commerce, WP, (both in Win & Unix) hosting options.

Re: Which hosting is the best?
We use IX Webhosting with their Unlimited Pro package at $7.95/mo pre-paid annually. They support both Windows and Linux and have amazing live customer support. We have suggested them to many other companies.
IX offers additional "Easy Apps", which are applications you can use with your website to help you build more options for your customers. One of those extras we will be using on our website is a "Live Support" application. It will allow me the ability to talk to my potential and existing customers in a real time setting giving them more of a personal touch for customer service. This application is included with the Linux Unlimited Pro package we have.
IX Webhosting has been good to us for the last 5 years and we are looking forward to continuing with them for years to come.

Re: Which hosting is the best?
Not sure if this would help any, but Crazy Domain (Aussie company) offers a beginner easy web builder and hosting for a great price. I'm just in the middle of building my website now. They even offer SEO options too.

I prefer ipower.com. It has great customer service and you can call 24/7 with any questions. They can help you when you are having problems, and they provide most add-ons for free.

I use Siteground for my Joomla sites for a while now and am very happy with them. They have several extra perks that help my clients manage their sites including site security checks.
