I need some advice....I am getting ready to have my website createdhowever, Im concerned about my domain name. As you know the name of my business is "Doing Business With Dystiny"....my concern is this....is my business name to long for somebody to have to type in when trying to go to my website? I know we should keep the branding consistent across the board but, should I shorten my name for an easy type and if so, what to so its still consistent?

Im open to any and all suggestions....Im still also looking for an Catchy Tag Line......ladies I really need your help and thank you in advance

Hi Dystiny,
I do think that is a very long URL for people to type in and remember. Also, your name 'Dystiny" is beautiful, but unusual and may be difficult for people to remember. It could also be easily confused with the more common name 'Destiny' which could complicate things for you. These are just my personal thoughts, I'd love to hear what others here think about it. Have you considered any other business names?

Doing Business With Dystiny is too long as an url but that's my opinion. Maybe if you shortened it to DystinyVA.com to make it easier? You would of course keep the same business name but for the url you should keep it short. I agree with Roadie that it might be a bit confusing for people typing out Dystiny, I can already see it being confused with Destiny but hey it might be catchy enough that people will remember it.

I appreciate your feedback and figured it was to long for an url...I will keep my business name....no way will I change that but what I will do is probably the DystinyVA.com or something like that. I still open for more suggestions and of course im going to speak with my graphic designer as well

I agree with the above responses especially reagrding your name. Although it is beautiful, it may be hard for people to remember.

I think going with DystinyVA.com is a good idea but, just in case of spelling error DestinyVA.com is available so I would purchase it as well and redirect it to DystinyVA.com.

I always like to keep my bases covered :-)

When coming up with a tagline, picture yourself standing face to face with a potential client and having to tell them in one sentence what you do in an easy way they can immediately understand.

What kind of services are going to offer? Is there a particular niche you are targeting? If it was general administrative, for example, a tagline could be something like "Virtual services to take care of your administrative needs" or something much more creative than that.

As far as servuces, itll be more Office Manager Services, including answering service and Administrative work as well. Data Entry,letters,media releases,creating training manual and companiy ploicies...you know things of that nature....
