Hi Guys

Wow! Im happy that I found this thread. Was about to ask someone for help with registering my domain name - some of the sites just seemed a little "fishy" to me!!

But after reading this thread, I see some of you have used Godaddy, which I did see - so Im going for that one.

One question that maybe some of you can advise me on - my company is called CarrieOn.com - but unfortunately I have just found out that the name Carrieon.com is already registered!!

So, in the middle of my tears at my first hurdle in starting up - we came up with the name - Carrieon-va.com - do you guys think this is ok - is it a big "minus" that my company is called Carrieon.com and that my website is slightly different?

Re registering domain names; many webhosting companies pay for your domain name registration when you sign on with them.

I'll be registering with godaddy soon! I'm starting my website with WIX.COM. Not sure if any of you have heard of it but you can link your wix site to a godaddy domain name so thanks for the codes! Hopefully it all works!

I love godaddy.com and will use them for all of my domain needs. I recommend bluehost.com or hostmonster.com for hosting however.
