Default Go Daddy vs. Blue Host vs. Immotion
I'm looking into changing hosting companies. I currently have a website that's done with MSFrontPage and am going to switch to a WordPress site. They all have automatic install of WordPress so that's not an issue.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any information that would sway me one way or the other on anyone of these companies as far as support, ease of use, etc.

Thanks so much!!

Susan

I didnt' shop around before I signed up with GoDaddy. I went on a rec from a Professor of mine. I don't know how GD compares price wise, but in regards to the products they have & their customer service, I have been very happy with them!

I don't use WordPress.

Hi Susan,

I'm partial to BlueHost and use this for many of my sites and refer clients to them; they are a great hosting company on all fronts (ease of use, customer support, etc.), IMHO. I've designed sites using GoDaddy, but am not as happy with their interface. I haven't used Immotion.

HTH a bit,

Word for word ditto on Jules' post.

BlueHost is da bomb, far as I'm concerned.

Thanks so much, Lezly, Jules, and Mary!

You all helped a lot. That's what I needed to hear. I've read good "editor's" reviews on Immotion but not a whole lot from "real people". I've read the most reviews on GoDaddy but it seems people love them or hate them. But it seems that the most consistent reviews go for BlueHost.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it

Warmly,
Susan

WE've always used GoDaddy, but I don't maintain our websites through them, my hubby does. We just get the domain name, and host through Hostgator
