I currently set up my website through Officelive. I was part of an organization and we use this to create our website. I thought you receive a free domain name with them but the name I have is so long company name.web.officelive.com, I wouldn't even use it as a client. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or need to purchase another domain name from officelive.

Consider purchasing a domain name from GoDaddy (see Tammi's post) and use that as your domain instead of the Office Live domain. Much better for SEO and for folks remembering who you are.

Plus you can take it with you if you decide to move off Office Live.
