Default Finding a HOST Tool - FYI
Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and an aspiring VA. I have been searching for a web host and in the process came across this website that might be useful for others in my situation.

Just an FYI.

Best of luck to everyone!

I've been with Go Daddy for some years, reliable, inexpensive and good tech support.

I researched domain providers and host providers extensively before committing. I finally signed onto HostGator for my Web host. They are very supportive, professional, 24/7 tek support plus they are nice to boot!
For my domain provider it's GoDaddy. I just prefer keeping them separate. Tek support good too.

Just a warning about some of these "tools" on the web. Many of them have been set up by a company to put their service on top and to disparage other services. Don't know if that is the case with this site or not, but the tech boards have been full of warnings about some of these sites. There was a company last week (I forget who) who was sued by competitors and had to pay a large restitution to competitors for the site. So just beware when looking at so called Top 10 type sites.

I was definitly thinking about going with godaddy also for my domain and hosting. They seem really reasonable and apparently have good tech support...

I have GoDaddy. They are just great. They actually called me the day after I made my purchase to help me get set up. Their tech support is also great, very responsive and knowledgeable.
