I have been using bluehost.com for a little over a year now. I haven't had any problems so far. This is helpful though since I am thinking about getting another hosting package.

There are so many choices, how do you know which one is best?? Ughhh

I have secured my domain name, now just need to get the website designed. I will learn Wordpress and I will design my own site. I am excited to do so...yay...

I actually saw this list a while ago and chose FatCow based on their review. I can really say how easy it is to work with or how supportive they are since I haven't gotten very far with my site (my issues, not theirs) but everything looks pretty straightforward.

Has anybody heard on dnsexit as a web host? I don't believe they have a CPanel for managing websites. Would someone shed some light on this subject, and the importance of the Cpanel for administrative function.

I just switched from 1&1 to HostGator because I wanted to use WordPress and I have been happy with both. 1&1 is not nearly as easy to set up with WordPress and I didn't love their customer service very much, that said, I rarely had to call them and they were a bit cheaper.

Good timing on this.

I'm still with GoDaddy. Ugh. Ugh on the sexism & ugh on the elephant hunt. Services start to expire next year. Hubby says dump them now, screw the money.

Sigh. What to do? They have excellent customer service. I have called many, many times over the years & have never been disappointed in their technical service. I had to deal with Blue Host recently, for a client. It was my first encounter & was not stellar. Not awful, but in comparison to GD, not as good.
