Hello all. I am just stumped. I did a brochure not too long ago and had it printed but it just looks so bland. I thought about doing a postcard this time but how do you get the right information on your small card? Any help would be appreciate or examples of postcards, flyers or brochures is also much appreciated.

I am also a newbie of about 2 weeks and have read so much that my mind is just swimming, there is so much good information here.......thanks for your responses.

Hi, Bobby, I am just trying out fliers. Mine came out a little bland too. Only had a few samples printed out, that way I would not waste money. I am sure we will get help on the forum. Aren't brochures a little expensive?

I have a sample of my brochure on my business website under services. You can get 25 brochures printed free through VistaPrint. You can get 100 postcards printed for free through VistaPrint. You do have to pay shipping and handling. Hope this helps.

I agree that it is a personal preference.

I do not, however, agree with using VistaPrint. Their products are decent, but you can find printers who will give you a MUCH better finished product for your money. SLPrintCenter.com is who I used last, and they were great. Very reasonable prices, quick turnaround, great service, and the finished product was stunning. Everyone was very very impressed with the Hi-Gloss postcards.

We've used VistaPrint in the past, but we have never received a response rate as high as our last round from SL Print Center.

i agree as well! I like doing a variety of things to test market. However, once you have obtain the client dont forget to maintain the relationship and raport with them.

I like the large sized postcards from vistaprint. I actually think the quality is very good (well the ones I ordered were). I used these for my wedding 'save the date' cards too - you can be quite creative with the design of them.

As for value I'm sure I paid about $30 for 100 lge postcards which is way cheaper than printing them myself.

would anyone mind sharing what their brochures currently look like. i cant seem to figure why mine looks crappy.

I agree, Vistaprint is not bad for free.. The only thing you have to pay is freight.
