Cool! I LOVE the dogbone background! We jokingly call our house "Muttly's Motorsports Bar & Grill" (hubby's nickname is "Mutt") so we use the dogbone motif around our house a lot. We even designed a dogbone shaped logo for the house and had it printed on t-shirts.

The cards look great! Good luck with the mailing!

I have been reading this thread about sending out postcards to promote our companies - but please can someone tell me what sort of informationyou are putting on them. Are you printing them and then just filling in the addresses?

I live in South Africa and have not seen this done and would really love to see an example so I can get some printed up.

Looking forward to your help/tips.

These are awesome! I love what you did. Please keep us posted on how this postcard campaign works for you. I'm considering doing one myself.

I sent out my 5th week of mailers yesterday. The day before that, I got my first call - an attorney interested in a simple web site. He was in the week 2 mailers, so he held onto the card for almost 3 weeks before calling. He said he liked my card, and "I didn't throw it away."

The return rate on the cards, is just under 6% & one person has called & asked to be taken off the list. If I can find a different address for the person/business, I resend a card. If not, I take that person/business off the list. In three weeks, the people/businesses on the Week 1 list will get their second card. I plan to keep the same look but change the text.

I feel a new client coming my way.

I've used Prints Made Easy. Somewhere I have a coupon code for them. Ok, found two: PME20 is for 20% off (one time only) and PE15 (Unlimited). I obtained my logo from them as well as my double-sided business cards. They are AWESOME! I've done post cards for one client and they turned out great! Oh yea, plus I obtained our son's logo and business cards for his little side business too. You can't go wrong with them AND they don't print their name anywhere like Vista Print!

Good luck!

WOW, these postcards are awesome! Have you had a lot of customer response to these? I am looking for an innovative way to contact business clients in my area, and I thought about postcards over a flyer or business letter. I do a lot of business with Office Depot; and I'm sure if I came up with a great design (like yours!!) that they could print them for me probably cheaper than I could print them myself. Plus I believe these office supply places have the ability to use a heavier card stock!

First, thanks for the nice compliments on the postcard. Ah, yes, my post cards rocked. They did!

In spite of my diligence with my postcard campaign, & such excellent postcards, I netted 3 calls & 0 work. My advice, use postcards/Send Out Cards as appreciation marketing tool, not a prospecting tool.

Every client I have or have had, came by referral. I cannot stress the importance of networking & building relationships. Most of my marketing dollars go to networking events/subscriptions/organizations.
