Thank you ladies for providing so much useful information. I'm a new VA and I'm still in the planning stages. I love this forum, it has helped me so much

My typical day is never typical but I'll try my best:

I wake up to about 50 emails, I weed through them, I see what my clients new needs for the day are and what they already told me they needed. I then prioritize my clients by their "emergencies" and regular needs.

Usually I will receive emails throughout the day of things that my clients think of or if something urgent should come up for me to take care of.

I wrap my day up by reviewing the next day's calendar and my to do list.

The type of clients I service seem to have urgent issues all the time (or maybe it's because I allow them to have urgent issues...LOL) so my days are never scheduled and never the same.

Dawn

Thank you for all of the great info in this post. I'm actually starting to call it a business now, although i have been doing this for people for years. My time was based on projects but a lot has changed since i started (ie kids, and full time job). In a few months I will be going to part time at my current job to work more on my business and really grow it. wish me luck!!

Thanks for this post. It gives me an idea of what it is like for some people to work as a VA. I think it's good to have an efficient routine that also includes exercise.
