I know from working in the mortgage servicing industry, closers/notaries are chosen based on experience, price, availability and willingness to travel. I was under the impression a Notary could only charge $5 or $10 per witness - is there some other fee scale? You can also charge a travel fee if you do mobile services. It doesn't seem to cost a lot to do the Notary. I am looking into the Signing Agent Certificate. It seems that the realty offices and banks look for this to do loan docs now. The fees are larger. Anyone's input would be wonderful. __________________ Sharon Sharon's Virtual Solutions
