Default New to the VA Field
I'm just starting out; still working fulltime for someone else, but I want to be self-employed. I have years of experience as a land use planner; might target land use lawyers among other potential clients. Anyway, here's my first attempt at a list:

Working with authors (writing, editing, proofreading)
Translation (English/Spanish)
Project Management
Travel and Event Planning
Website Maintenance
Internet Research

I'm also experienced with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) but that requires very specialized software. I'm not sure there's a market for that kind of thing as a VA.

Looks like a great start - try breaking each of these down into actual possible relative tasks...then you're well on your way to a services menu.

Welcome to the forum! I'm a big believer that as a VA you can make your business to what you want it to be! Let us know how you are coming along!

I just ordered a book called The 2 Second Commute. It sounds like a great resource judging from other comments I've read about it.
