Default Any Affiiliate Managers Out Here?
So I'd love to learn a little more about anyone's experience being an affiliate manager. Likes, dislikes, training and resources. If you're one let us know. Are you able to find enough clients?

I'm also interested in finding out more about being an affiliate manager.

Kelly McCausey has a Hot Seminar Series where she interviews work at home moms about their careers and she just interviewed Angela Wills about how she became an affiliate manager. It's $10 to hear all the interviews with work at home moms. I highly recommend it. Here's the link: http://www.hotseminarseries.com/

Arghhhhh!!!! I've just been through he!! and back working with 1ShoppingCart's affiliate program.
My client already had an affiliate program for her books and services. She's also JV'd with another Internet marketer to produce a telesummit. She wanted her regular books/services affiliate program at 35% commission, 25% commission for the general public for the telesummit and 50% for the speakers. Sounds simple doesn't it. NOT!!! We're still working on finding the most effective work-around. Grrrr...

Sorry for the rant...I just saw the word "affiliate" and just had to!

Cheers,
Pam

P.S. I guess it's safe to say that at the present moment anyway, I don't want to work on affiliate programs! LOL

In line with this particular discussion, does anyone know of a good software/company to use for affiliate programs that is not too pricey? Checked into 1ShoppingCart but think it's too costly for a trial run on something. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome!

Kathy - ironic that you suggested e-junkie as I just stumbled across that one and literally just did a post here on the forum to see if anyone else has used it. Is it easy to use, in your opinion? The pricing is certainly right at only $5 a month!
