Default PC to Mac. Making the Switch | MacBook Watch
One of the biggest misconceptions that a PC user has with switching to a Mac is it is hard to learn to use. The transition is actually simpler then believed.

The functions that you are used to going to in the start menu on a windows machine is easily accessed between the Finder, the Dock and the Apple menu. Inserted media such as a CD or DVD automatically appear on the desktop as Icons....

I think another misconception is that there is little integration between the two. That may have been the case some years ago but for the most part, I can start a project on a PC in Excel and finish it on my MAC in Excel without any problems. I don't know why the two camps seem so divided. I like both platforms! MACs to me, tho' are more 'plug and play.'

I'm very impressed with how simple the Mac is to use, overall. Once I get my brain to think "finder" and "dock" I'll be all set.
