I've been tasked with looking for a new mid-range laser printer for one of my non-profit clients. They don't need an all-in-one. It must print at least 15ppm in b/w and be compatible with a MAC computer. Color is preferred and budget should be less than $750. Does anybody have suggestions?

I have been very pleased with my two laser printers from Brother. The first is a MFC which I know they do not need. My second is a b/w HL-5340 which does duplex. I am not sure how I lived without that. The b/w is my primary printer and I have the color MFC for color jobs.

Both have performed well. Staples is great if there is a problem with their customer service. My belt went out on the color and Brother wanted to charge me for the replacement belt even though the machine was still under warranty (it is considered a consumable). I called Staples because I have an extended warranty through them and they replaced the printer free of charge.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I found a great little Samsung on sale at OfficeMax. The best part - I got there and it was on sale for $100 less than the salesperson quoted over the phone. My clients were happy and it made printing my 2500 piece mailing for them a lot faster than in the past.
