I have both, but honestly, I am thinking of only providing service on the Mac. I simply do not enjoy working on the PC.

It is slow and sluggish and so archaic in many ways...

I recently decided to go to college for a bachelor's in Web Design & Development, and as part of the program, I got a brand new Macbook Pro at a deep, deep discount. It was, luckily, covered in full by my financial aid package.

I've had it for just over three weeks now, and absolutely love it.

I still have one major contract that provides probably 75% of my work that uses a program that must be run on Windows, so I've kept my Windows Vista laptop for that purpose. But I literally only have to use it for 10 minutes every two or three days. I can do the actual work on my Mac, and just transfer for file conversion and finalization on the Windows machine. And it's just a matter of saving some text files to a thumb drive for the transfer, so it's not been too much of a hassle.

I just can't believe the speed difference between Windows and Mac OS X. Any time I get on the Windows machine now I just want to scream and throw it across the room!

I have both and use a KVM switch to go back/forth between machines as needed but with only 1 monitor/keyboard/mouse on my desk. I really like the Mac but the hubby is totally a PC

I use a PC and Vista. Never liked the MAC but I haven't used one in about 10 years.

Love my mac but also have a PC. I sometimes work in a construction estimating program and it does not support Mac. . The speed and the lack of virus's is wonderful!

We have to use what clients use - how many of your clients use Mac?

i LOVE my MacBook!

I do use a PC at my dayjob BUT I hate it as it's so slow and crashes either Word or the Internet once a day [even though it's two years old AND my boss hasn't bought any anti-virus programs for it as I use it for the bank!]

Ok, so those of you who know me know that I am a Mac maniac!!! LOL. I LOVE my Mac, but like others have said, there are unfortunately some software titles that you just have to have a PC for.

I have OS X Snow Leopard, and I use Boot Camp to dual-boot with the new Windows 7. Works out wonderfully!

The thing I love most about my Mac is the stability and the fact that I don't have to worry about viruses and bugs.

I have a Mac Pro and love it! Mac is so much more intuitive than a windoze machine. I run Parallels so that I can work on several things at once. I run Leopard 10.5.8, Windows XP, Ubuntu Server, and Ubuntu OS virtually. I also have laptops running XP, Vista, and Windows 7 virtually, I have these primarily for remote tech support, certain Windows versions do not like to play nice with each other!

I currently have a PC and am starting my VA business and hope to start marketing for clients this week. Though, I hope to move to a Mac book as soon as fianances permit.

Question to all of you VAs that have Macs - has this ever presented a road block when collaborating with your clients?

Just curious if there are road blocks I need to anticipate if I move to a mac book.
