I need to buy a new printer and I am looking for a laser color.
Can you please suggest a good model - good quality printing is of a high importance to me.

As I don't have a lot of space I am looking for something compact:

1. smaller model of color laser printer
2. MF (color laser) - could be bigger but not too big (so I move a scanner from the desk and replace with this)

The price is also not very important. I know Lexmark is top quality but they unfortunately only make big printers, I am looking at HP. What is your experience with Samsung? Samsungs are not very popular in my country so I can not get any good recommendations here. anyone?

I have a Samsung CLP300. I have great results with it. It has individual color toners which makes it much easier to work with. It isn't much bigger than the Brother b/w laser printer I had.

It does not like cardstock very well, although it is listed as an acceptible paper. And, I've printed on a high gloss/slick, brochure paper and the pages might stick if I'm printing a lot at one time. But, for a high volume project on slick paper I have it done somewhere else.
