I am going to buy a tablet computer for use in my business. I am trying to decide on the iPad 2 or an android tablet, probably the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Can anyone give me any feedback concerning which one is best for business?

I have a Motorola Xoom because I am a big Google Apps user. I chose the Android based pad because I also have an Android based phone. However my dad and daughter both have Ipad and they love them.
To me it is about personal preference. The one thing that actually drove me to the Xoom was the ability for Flash without having to install an app. I would also check out the apps available on both to see who can meet your business needs.
I just bought my boss an Acer Iconia WP500 for $400 and we were both really impressed. The W means it runs Windows 7 so we didn't have to learn another new software and it works seamlessly with MS Office (I bought him MS Office Home and Small Business for under $250). We did need to buy a portable USB cd drive to install the office software but other than that I'm really pleased with the purchase. The Iconia also comes with a 'docking station' that has a full QWERTY keyboard and locks onto the tablet or the tablet can be used independently.
We have an iPad but I can't imagine ever using it for business - I have seen a LOT of great business management and productivity apps for the iPad/iPhone though. I agree with Lee's suggestion to check out the respective app stores for the types of apps you might be interested in using.
I do use my iPhone 4 for business to some degree and find it very handy - I love being able to check email, track PayPal transactions, and a few other things while I'm out running around.

I have a laptop that I use from home and wondered about getting a tablet, but I have an Android phone that I love checking for online transactions. I want to sync the business so that I can be involved while on the go.

I love my Android tablet, I picked up a Thoshiba Thrive earlier this year. I couldn't live without Flash. And I really love the full size USB port on the Thrive as well, it's nice being able to plug a jump drive in if I need to. I picked up the 16GB version and I've got plenty of storage room. I can also add an SD card should I need to expand my memory. That's not an option for an iPad which worries me. It didn't hurt that I'm a pretty big fan of Android overall, I love my EVO!
