Hi all,

I'm shopping for an external hard drive. I seem to be falling for the Western Digital My Book Mirror Edition 1tb 2.0 USB. I think this would be a great by for me and my needs. However, I really can't find anything out there to compare it to.

The reason I'm going with this one is because of the dual hard drives and their mirroring ability. I'm working with one computer system and to have an external drive that back up twice along with my online backup system I feel I will be covered well should something happen to either the external or internal drives (i.e. backing up my back up's back up.) I also like the idea of being able to pick it up and move it to any other system should my working computer fails.

Anyway, do any of you know of any other Mirror Edition external drives out there that I can use to compare to the WD?

Hi Lily and thanks. Yes I found that comparison too but I was hoping to find a comparison of the WD Mirror edition to other Mirror edition drives. I did, however, find a couple of other mirrored drives but I can't get a side by side comparison but I guess with what I've learned from the different sites I can make a choice from my current information.
