Default Dell 2135cn Multifunction Color Laser Printer
I need to replace my ancient laser printer. I found a Panasonic multitask B&W laser printer with good reviews. It prints, copies, scans (color) & faxes. Then a friend told me about the new Dell color laser. (She doesn't have one but wants one.) It does all the same things as the Panasonic, but prints color. Laser, not deskjet. Here's the thing - it's the same price as the Panasonic & it has good reviews, too. The worst thing mentioned is how large it is & that's not a problem for me.

The cartridge cost will be more because there are four cartridges, not just one. I doubt I'll do much color printing for business, but I love the color option. Have any of you seen this printer in action?

Hmmm, can't say I print often enough (maybe twice in the past 12 months, for a client...?) to warrant dropping that kind of an investment on a printer. And we just use online faxing... I think we paid $100 for ours and I only bought it to 'fill out' the home office

I'd rather spend the money on computers and software. But, if you do print a lot for clients (or yourself) then by all means - call it an investment!

I have a colour laser printer which I love. I have used it for clients work and my own marketing. I would not buy an all-in-one, the main reason being, if the thing breaks down and you need service, you are going to be out of all of those pieces of equipment that comprise an all-in-one.
