Default Cell phone or Blackberry?
I am eligible for an upgrade on my cell phone. I am trying to decide if I should just upgrade to a phone that allows me to check emails or should I go for something like a Blackberry that gives me more capabilities?

What are you all using...and what suggestions do you have for me?

I've got an iPhone, I live in the uk and I love it because we get free web browsing and emails included in our tariff.

As for you personally it really depends and what your requirements are

This is a great question and I will keep looking to see what others are doing. Soon it will be my turn to make this decision so this will be useful to me. Sorry I can't help but thanks for posting this question.

I suggest blackberry. You can do so much with it. I have a blackberry and love it. I check on my facebook account and see if there are any important messages from clients or prospect clients and also send messages to people like happy birthday etc. I only give my blacberry email address to clients and do not check my main emails so i don't spend hours upon hours on it..lol i would go to webmail if I know I am going to be away from my office for more than a few hours or day.

i suggest the blackberry curve. i hear the ipone is great as mentioned above but have never used it or seen how it works.

let us know what you decide.

Thanks for the responses...it is really appreciated...

Well...after some research...I think I am leaning towards getting a Palm Centro. Out of the smartphones, blackberries...etc...it is the only reasonably priced one (including the additional data service, etc...you need for these things) that appears to have the ability to edit documents. My thought is this...should someone send me a document, or if I am on the go, and I send myself a document...I can edit it while eating...waiting...etc...

The phone itself is smaller than the Blackberry...and it appears to have gotten some positive reviews...

If anyone has any experience with these...please feel free to share...and should I purchase this...I will post my experience.

I love my Blackberry. But beware you WILL be connected. I have my business email on there and all of my email addresses that I have for my clients. Even if I don't respond to their emails immediately, I know whats going on at all times. WARNING: It can be addictive, but you have to set your personal boundaries.

Hi,

I use the Palm Treo 750 (my 4th Palm product) and would highly recommend any of their products, they are great!

Thanks for the responses it is really appreciated!!!

So far the phone seems ok...not sure if I got more phone than what I need-or need right now-since I am not up and running with clients. Accessing my emails out is easy...but I am having some difficulty trying to change the ringer to one of my favorite songs (but I haven't had time to really mess with it). Keyboard is really small...but somehow pretty accurate.

If anyone has a Palm Centro through Verizon wireless and has any tips or worthwhile software...etc...to look into...it would be appreciated.
