Hi, I also use two monitors and feel that makes me so much more productive not to mention 'greener' as you don't have to print as much. I read somewhere recently that 3 monitors is the sweet spot... I need to invest in another one!
I can't image three monitors, but I guess it depends on what you do! My friend has two and loves the setup, but I haven't progressed that far with equipment yet.

I no longer just want 2 monitors. I was these 2 monitors!!!!! It's the Samsung Central Station monitor. I am in love with the whole concept but obviously I'll have to save my money (although they can be found for much cheaper than the Samsung link)!!!

I, too, am saving my pennies so I can have two monitors. Currently I am working on a laptop, but really like the idea of having multiple monitors. I haven't worked that way since 1999 when I worked in credit and collections, but it makes it so much easier to get things done.

I thought I'd point out that probably more important than having a dual monitor set-up would be to make sure you're presenting yourself well in the public arena.
Proper use of grammar and punctuation may not seem important when posting a quick comment on a blog or forum, but you never know who's reading... it may be a prospective client.
