Default TWO Volunteer Opportunities... :)
Good news. I have grabbed two small businesses to do some volunteer VA services on: My brother's airbrush shop and my sister in law's boutique. I have designed both of their logos, and I'm going to also work on developing e-commerce sites for the both of them so that they can sell online, create their invoices, purchasing slips, letterheads, envelopes, etc. Free of charge, but that's no biggie. It'll all pay off in the long run.

I think this is a GREAT opportunity. Not only to strengthen the bond between us (I LOVE these people!) but to also (1) to build on my portfolio, and (2) get some great references/recommendations. They're both very good at their business; my sister in law is about to start hers up, and my brother is EXCELLENT at his airbrushing business. They know a lot of people in large and small businesses. This would be great in the long run to get my business name out there.

Awesome news Nadia! Isn't family the greatest?!

This should work out well, and hopefully you'll get some referrals after the fact. Good luck!

I echo LeShanti! Congratulations. When you can point a potential client to your work, then your work will speak for itself.

Great job!
