Default Communication Preference
What type of communication do you find your clients mostly prefer - email or phone? And this would be after your have established a working relationship. Thanks

Both. Mostly email but phone if it's a discussion that will take a while.

Thankfully, my clients are very happy with email communication, and some like to have a regular phone call to discuss upcoming projects or for brainstorming. Some clients also like the occasional text for reminders or if it's something urgent and they can't pick up the phone (in meetings or conferences).

I don't have any clients as of yet, but just as @Clockwise VA said, e-mail communication (to me) is great. I think that Skype would be great too, in case they want to have a "face to face" meeting of some sort. I've used Google Calendar to e-mail/text them updates on old coworker's phones before.

So far my clients prefer email, text, and phone calls. Im trying to get away from meeting clients face to face and turn them on to skype.

Thanks. I would prefer email and Skype to meeting face to face. I live in a large metro area and it could be a long drive to have to meet a client face to face.
