Very interesting information. I started my business in 2003 also.

I think we're doing a great job at building the VA profession together ... those numbers are going to increase over the years to come!

Looking forward to connecting with you.

Thumbs up Re: Recent survey offers insight into various Virtual Assistant industry averages
Thanks so much for this valuable information. It is coming at a great time as I am preparing for a March presentation to Cleveland's Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE). COSE is a branch of the Chamber of Commerce here in Cleveland. I will be spreading the word to other home-based businesses as well as small brick and mortar businesses. These numbers give a great deal of validity to our profession.

Thanks again!

Tess, you are simply and angel sent to us new VA's. This information not only answer questions I have had but it also give me insight to set some goal as a new VA like the average of 6.6 clients per VA and supporting 4.7 clients per month, thats something to think about and work towards each month. Good looking out! Gotta og cause I gotts get busy.

I am looking for a complete survey that has statistics about specialist in the VA industry. Has anyone purchased this survey? How complete is it? Is there one someone would recommend over this one?

I see this survey was done in 2007, question: is there a more recent survey, or if not, is one being compiled.

I know this is an old thread, but I also appreciate the information. I'm just starting out and trying to figure my rates. My current boss has been a big help with it also as he knows what my costs will be in just running the business. Thank goodness for him because he is letting me do all of this while I'm at work.

I am very new to this forum so I am indeed responding late, but I just wanted to say that this information is very interesting and it's nice to know that there's a VA out there somewhere who grossed almost $300,000 as my long term goal is currently $100,000. Thanks for posting this info, Tess!
