Re: Quotes
Hi Kirsten, I do have a branded proposal template that I use and will edit and ammend as needed for each situation. It usually includes all of the following sections:
Introduction - usually a brief note of thanks to the PC for the opportunity to provide the proposal.
1. Contact Information of Consultants & Sub-Contractors
Name, address, phone, email, web, etc. - whatever is applicable
Includes EIN info and 'licensed to do business in the state of...' info
2. Technical Proposal
a. Project Schedule
The actual breakdown of the work including number of days for each phase, including check-in points for client collaboration and feedback as needed.
Includes proposed start date, proposed deadline.
3. Management Proposal
a. Project Management
Notes on how communication will be managed, how project development will be managed, etc.
b. Client-Side Deliverables
List of what the client must provide in order for the project to be completed.
Includes 'failure to provide' clause - reminder to client that the completion of their project is contingent on their timely provision of items needed. Failure to provide items does not remove client responsibility of contract nor does it = refundable deposit.
4. Cost Proposal
a. Fees & Expenses
Total cost for project as described in document.
List of items expressly NOT included in proposal [as applicable]
b. Payments & Terms
Detailing each and all of the following:
Acceptance of proposal clause
Changes and modifications clause
Cancellation or termination clause
Post-project clause
No-guarantee clause [as needed]
Payment schedule - details deposit info and any further payments based on phases as described in project.
c. Confidentiality Agreement
Standard clause
6. Contractual Agreement
My signatory info + signature
Clients signatory info + place to sign
