Re: New Article on Business Planning
Kanody - Remember that your plan is your map or blueprint. Some people can do just fine with directions scribbled on a scrap of paper, while others need a well-drawn map. Your plan tells you what you should be working on to get from A to B. When you write it up, you're just giving it due respect; taking the time to think of all the angles so you don't go off half-cocked. Having a plan is being a little bit smart about what's unavoidably the luck of the draw. If you have a map, that obstacle in the road can be circumvented. If you don't have a map, obstacles can seem insurmountable.
Overall, your plan is never 'right.' It's constantly in flux.
