I would like to compare notes - im going on holiday for 10 days next friday so i may not have it completed in 2 weeks.

I live in northern ireland and there is a very useful website called investni.com which gives you valuable information on writing a business plan and what content to put it in - have a look at that and it will help you too.

I do design logos - generally when I'm designing or redesigning a website these days...but have done quite a few 'logo only' projects.

And sometime in Oct/Nov you *will* be able to call me because I'll be stateside...finally we're on our way back, after four years moving around abroad I'm ready to retire the travelling shoes and settle down in the U.S. for a *little bit* - of course I expect the travel bug will hit us sometime again shortly thereafter...we're already thinking Japan but we want to focus on the business for a while and there's no place on earth better for business (in my experience) than the States - if only for the fact that the power never goes out and the internet connections are superb!

I just wanted to share with you how I came up with my logo design. I too didnt want to pay a hefty price and since graphic design is something I offer I decided to do something myself. A friendof mines came over with a book of different drawings he bought the book has different shapes and such. He uses this book to design from. Well there was a design that looked similar to the 1st letter of my business name so I scanned it and tweeked it a bit using Paintshop Pro and I love my logo!
