Re: What's the best way to track & organize research?
Jo-Carole,
I am in no way an expert in OneNote but I have the program and I had read some posts that people utilized it. I did a quick tutorial and it really works like a spiral notebook that has tabs. You have a tab for each project or subject and from there you can create subcategories, etc. I have one for home, one for my business which has alot of tabs (terms and conditions, website info, rates, etc.), and then I have one for my mom's business.
When I am on a website and I see something interesting I can copy and paste it into One Note. It will also capture the name of the website I took it from so I can go back to the site if needed. I have also used it for notes as well which was great b/c I just clicked a button and sent them via email as a PDF.
It is a great resource if you have the program. I have stopped hand writing my notes and try to utilize OneNote as often as possible.
Everyone will find the organizational tools that work for them. What works for one may not work for another but I love this site b/c I have tried some new things and love it.
