After reviewing last weeks thread looks like everyone is moving right along in their VA businesses!

Here is my list for the week:

~ Prep for 2 meetings this week
~ Update QB for husband business
~ Invoicing for husband
~ Learn 2 new systems for new client
~ Finish Ebook
~ Update client database
~ Sign info for Acct./mail so she can efile
~ Send out 1099 to IRS

Our business is about making yours better

My husband will be away this week, so I have a big to-do list in order to keep myself occupied. Some are personal and some are business related. But I want to get them all done.

1 - Set up filing system for business paperwork
2 - File personal bills that have been paid - my pile is getting out of control
3 - Move Christmas pictures from my camera to my computer
4 - Fix last page of website as I found a mistake on it
5 - Make more fliers for the Chamber of Commerce racks
6 - Send a letter to my sister and enclose an article I found in the newspaper that she would enjoy
7 - Send business introduction letter to property management people that we use for our house in Maryland
8 - Send business introduction letter to Temp Services - list already obtained. (Hey, they might be really busy now that everyone is being laid off and looking for work. It doesn't hurt to try.)
9 - Go to Miami and meet with other VAs. Looking forward to this meet-up.
10 - Go to the gym, ride my bike, have a glass of wine and finish the day soaking in a hot tub full of bubbles!

1 - schedule my day jobs for Monday, Tues, Thurs and Fri
2 - continue building website and writing content
3 - go SOS and county to file necessary paperwork
4 - talk to a potential client (yeah)
5 - organize my workspace
6 - continue research on my to do list

First, I had to look up Family Day to see what it was. For those celebrating tomorrow ~ enjoy!

So, here is how this week stacks up for me:

• Add content to new website
• Post to podcast blog
• Conduct 3 podcast interviews with a possibility of a fourth
• Edit audio for podcast set to air on the 25th
• Spend time on Facebook, add content, join groups, etc.
• Find one new client that wants audio work done specifically
• Add audio samples to website
• Update content for first page of my website
• Start pricing stock video for new promo video for new podcast
• Send out invoices
• Look into joining Chamber of Commerce
• Get my Notary Public stamp and materials
• Amongst everything else going on (and most importantly) take care of my clients' projects

This week I am going to try to have some extra me time:

Write 5 blog articles
Work on social media sites
Sign up client that I am writing proposal for
Work on client template special project
Finish updates for client site for meeting on Wednesday
Attend Advisory Board meeting and get lots accomplished
Meet with JV prospect about website rework
Send out client thank-yous and touches
Work on all regular client work and have majority completed before Friday

Hopefully I will be marking a big fat DONE on every task comes Thursday.

Its Sunday evening and I'm setting up my week so this is the perfect opportunity to post to this thread. I work a day job 3 days a week so between 0700 and 1630 on those days I'm either at work there or commuting. So, evenings and Thursday and Friday I will:

1. complete client's society application
2. gather information for client's policy and procedure project
3. start HIPAA training project for presentation to client
4. tweak my website
5. add to blog
6. try to learn more about social networking
7. develop a newsletter to send out
8. work on agreement, etc. for referral network members
9. meet with 2 referral network members and try to recruit 2 more
10. complete welcome kit and send out to potential clients
11. write at least 2 chapters in book
12. finish taxes

And I too am hoping for a big fat DONE on most of these (especially 1 and 12) by the weekend so I can start over next Monday.

Okay I got thrown off od schedule because I got a brand new laptop thanks the the hubs. So I was busy cleaning, organizing and moving files but did manage to get through some of my list.
