Re: Training for clients...need help please!
Genevieve,
There are many options out there with GoToMeeting being my favorite. I have used DimDim and while it is okay there were many technical issues that my attendees had. Since I do several a month I went with a more reliable service.
If it is only a one time thing, there are many out there that offer you a 30 day try so pick one of the best and use that during the trial for a good quality training webinar. If you want attendees to be able to accees audio from computer or phone make sure that they have an integrated VOIP as well as bridge line. Some services offer one or the other and not both.
As for putting it together my first suggestion is practice, practice, practice. Do a dry run with a friend or colleague to make sure everything is working. Then schedule and plan just as you would an on site training (without the travel of course).
Few other tips I give my clients: have a glass of water handy, turn off cell phones and clear the room of distractions, have someone to assist you so that you can worry about the presentation and they can moderate the rest and do a dry run with recording to check for any technical issues beforehand.
