I would love to offer this service to clients, but I am thinking I need some kind of credential behind my name. I have done a Google search, but I am now even more confused than before. Can anyone give me the lowdown on this area? Where to go for cert/training etc?
While taking my Business Administration courses in college we learned about resume writing and critiquing. I have not seen a certification course for resume writing.
What I would do is practice resume writing, the different resume's for different types of jobs and go from there.
As an office manager and business owner I had to learn critiquing for specific positions that we offered.
Try Googling "What to ask during an interview" and see how you can apply questions to specific jobs, then write resumes to fit those questions.
