I've recommended this magazine a number of times and when I start to second guess my recommendation I like to tell people. I got this month's issue in the mail today and I am NOT impressed. The magazine used to be much (like 100 pages) larger. The paper quality went down. I'm just not overly impressed this month.

If you have been thinking about subscribing you might wait a couple months. The content might still be good but I'm not as impressed as I used to be. My biggest concern is that they are trying to cut costs because they are in financial trouble. Their website is still available so that might be the way to go...http://www.pinkmagazine.com/index.html Besides, you can read the entire magazine online for free anyway (look on the home page). So.....I guess I won't be renewing that subscription.

Thank for the heads up. I was looking at subscribing and I was trying to figure out what you got in the printed version that you couldn't get online.

It doesn't sound like a very good business model to have the entire magazine available free online if you are trying to convince people to pay for a printed version.

I agree. I don't remember the full magazine being there when I subscribed. I'm usually really good at checking that. It looks like it might get posted online a while after the print version comes out but I'll wait to save the subscription fee.

They may have changed their format to get away from costly publishing. It seems that many magazines and news are going this route to keep readership and cut costs. I am surprised that they have the full version on their site.

Call me old fashioned but I do like paper versions of books and magazines.

Thank you for updating your opinion on Pink magazine. I am glad when anyone can stop me from spending money on something that is not worth it. Thanks for the link to the website as well. I will read the articles online and give it time before subscribing to the paper version. Like Leedrozak I also like the paper versions of magazines and books. Even if my husband tries to make me get rid of them.

I received the latest issue of Pink in the mail. I sat down to read it today and it took me no more than 20 minutes it was that short. I am a new subscriber and thought that perhaps they have a small issue every so often -- perhaps not. I did notice the size change though, that is for sure.

It's true, O mag is also online. I don't know if they have the full version, I really don't even have time anymore to read magazines. I have been cancelling, one at a time. When they are up for renewal, I just don't renew anymore. Except for Entreprenuer. About the only thing I do read is anything relating to virtual assistance and business. I get a ton of newsletters daily, I really can't keep up with it all......Everytime someone recommends another book from this forum I buy it...I can't help myself

I too, went to the website, and it looks like there is lots of useful information. It's too bad about your subscription, but at least the information is still available on line.

Thanks for the update. I had been thinking about subscribing to the magazine. Nice to know you can read the whole magazine online for free, one less cost to endure.

I've never heard of Pink Magazine either, but I was a little disappointed when I went to the website. It's OK, but not quite as interesting as I had hoped. Maybe I'll check it out later and it will be better.

Yes, after checking it out, it was disappointing. I was not impressed.
