I also live in area that doesn't really know what VA's really are... but with the price of gas and everything being at least 20 miles one way to the next local area that would possibly have some kind of job for barely 9.00 hr just isn't worth it, so I am hoping that I can find something that I can do at home and make money so that I wouldn't have to pay for daycare on top of the high gas prices.... just hoping that I find something that I can really make money doing......

I thought it would be sensible to set up my VA business whilst working full time. I can then spend time getting a client base.

Not many people seemed to have heard of Virtual Assistants here in the UK which is quite a good way of opening up a conversation!

I agree with Deboroah It will be very interesting to see how things move on the VA industry 5 years time!
