Default Need Help - VA Recruitment
Hi all, just a thought that has been floating through my head for sometime now. My question is, if you find yourself only able to work with one client at a time, how do you go about recruiting a VA to work directly for you? What agencies do you suggest?? I've read some horror stories about VA who interview and direct hire their own help which I find not only to be very time consuming and takes away from you working on other projects. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I 100% recommend you start with the "Hire a Virtual Assistant" link at the top of this forum. Upper left on my screen. You can also go to this link, which is a forum category on VAF.

I agree with Pam but wanted to add that most often VAs will subcontract to/work with virtual assistants they already know through the forums and social networking sites. The more active you are on a site like VAF the more you'll become familiar with other VAs who might complement your own service offerings and/or could serve as backup if you were to get busy.

There are also plenty of multi-VA teams who's members network here on VAF. They generally discuss business operations and the ins and outs of working with other VAs in the Multi-Virtual Assistant Businesses Forum. You'll definitely find some great information related to growing a team in there.
